Rosewood Mandarina sits on a stretch of Riviera Nayarit coastline unlike anything else Elli Travel Group has toured in Mexico — 750 acres spanning jungle, mountain ridgeline, and nearly a mile of Pacific beachfront, with the resort's footprint deliberately left loose enough that no two stays feel identical. The Flatlands which is closest to the main pools, beach, spa, and restaurants. Perfectly level, it’s ideal for families who want to zip between activities on complimentary bikes (even kids-size bikes!).
The Mountain is perched on steep hills with panoramic Pacific views. Remote, quiet, and romantic, it is best suited for couples or honeymooners who don’t mind relying on golf carts for transport...or who want to get their steps in and their glutes working.
The Beach area is steps from the sand, where the sound of crashing waves becomes the soundtrack to your stay.
The Suite: Premier Beachfront Suite 127
We stayed in Premier Beachfront Suite 127, roughly 2,000 square feet with a private plunge pool positioned about 100 feet from the sand. The layout separates the bedroom, living area, and outdoor terrace clearly enough that it reads more like a small villa than a hotel room.
One honest caveat: the beachfront suites sit close enough to the shared beach path that early-morning resort traffic (staff carts, other guests walking to breakfast) is audible from the terrace before 8am. Travelers who want total seclusion should ask specifically about end-unit placement when booking.
Dining Across the Property
Dining is spread across the three zones rather than centralized, which means a full stay involves genuine variety — but also some transit time between meals if you're staying at one end of the property and dining at the other. We'd recommend building 15–20 minutes into any dinner reservation for the cart ride.
