Liz’s interest in travel began at a young age as her parents have always been avid travelers and loved to take the family on trips all over the world. Over the years she has been sailing in the Caribbean, gone to cooking school in Tuscany, traveled in England, Italy, Spain, Israel, Africa, Hawaii, Alaska and across the United States.

 

Liz grew up in Harrison, NY, graduated from Rye Country Day School and the University of Virginia. Her broad-based career experience includes working in international basketball operations for the NBA, corporate event planning at JP Morgan and nonprofit event planning and fundraising in the private sector for DS Consulting.
           

After marrying, having two children and moving to Armonk, Liz decided to focus her energies more locally, starting a popular food-and-recipe blog called It’s DeLIZious and becoming involved in the Bryam Hills school system. She served as Head of Events for the Byram Hills Preschool Association for two years and President for another two. A board member of the Byram Hills Education Foundation, she currently serves as Co-Chair of Events. In her spare time, Liz enjoys cooking, skiing, and playing golf and tennis but she especially loves to travel. She loves to share her adventures with others and help them plan their own.
