Janelle joined Elli Travel Group after realizing that she could actually make a career out of her love of planning, researching and managing details!
Janelle has always loved traveling and has visited 20 countries and 49 of the 50 states. While most people love the trip but loathe the planning, Janelle enjoys both, especially the excitement of discovering all of the “must dos and must sees” for every destination. She’s planned many family vacations, including Scandinavia, Italy, Ireland, England, Dubai, ski trips in Colorado and a multi-generational family trip to Alaska.
Janelle is a Nebraska native but has also lived in Rhode Island, California, Kansas, Georgia, New Jersey and Illinois. She earned her BS in Business Administration from The University of Nebraska and her MBA from Washburn University. After a 20-year career in sales and marketing with both M&M Mars and Del Monte Foods, she left corporate America shortly after the birth of her second child to focus on family and volunteer work.
She currently lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband and two children and enjoys cooking, reading, and, yes, traveling.
